Last Wednesday the CEO of BGC Portland/Metro came to inspect our site at Prescott Elementary.  This is/was a big deal for many reasons, not the least of which being it was his first visit to a school site since they were started over 5 years ago.  The good news is that we passed muster with flying colors.  He was really, really impressed with how ( Read more... )

The Good News: My leg isn't broken!  Initially they told me that I probably had a break in my femur and tibia and wouldn't be able to put any weight on it for the next 12 weeks.  BUT NO!  I apparently have a very bad bruise on my femur bone, but it's not actually broken.  Also, some fluid and swelling, but both are slowly going away.  The doctor ( Read more... )
